Spring Recital Costume Info

It’s time to start thinking about Spring Recital costumes!!

Before we get into the details about costumes (and how you can save money on recital costs for a limited time), here’s a little bit of how the recital and months leading up to the recital all work!

Our Spring Recital will be held June 14th, 2025 at Brodniak Hall in Anacortes.

Leading up to recital day:

– January 1st – Order costumes

– Early Spring – Try on costumes

– May 8th-14th – Recital Photo Week, photos taken during normal class time

– June 14th – Recital Day

What does recital day usually look like?

– Morning dress rehearsals at Brodniak Hall

– Matinee Show (Early afternoon show, usually includes Tots, PreK, and Kinderdancers)

– Evening Show (Mid-evening show, usually includes dancers 6 years old and up)

(Please be aware that some dancers/classes may be in both shows)

That’s why we’re transitioning to a Performance Participation Package that reflects the essential elements for your dancer in one clear and comprehensive package. Our goal is to make the process simple, transparent, and stress-free while ensuring your dancer has everything they need to shine on stage!

Here’s what’s included in the package:

Costume Rental (Retail Value: $108)
Your dancer will dazzle in a hand selected, high-quality costume. All costumes are professionally cleaned before and after use, so they arrive fresh and ready to wear. Renting allows us to provide stunning designs while keeping costs lower—and it’s also more eco-friendly!

Dance Tights (Retail Value: $12)
Perfectly matched tights for a polished, recital-ready look.

Professional In-Studio Photo Session (Retail Value: $75)
Capture your dancer’s special moment with beautiful individual and group photos.

Performance Videos (Retail Value: $52)
Enjoy professional-quality videos of your dancer’s performance to treasure forever.

Altogether, this package is a $247 per class value, but we’re offering it with a special competition team discount for $115.87 per technique class (each style of dance only counted once)!

(Competition teams and soloists will be using costumes from their technique classes so there is no additional costume cost, and team and soloist photos and videos are included at no extra cost!)
